That powerful match is still fresh in everyone’s mind. It showed so much in just an hour that people will like to go and watch it again and again.

Angle’s personal tragedy before the classic match

While talking with Rene Dupre in his podcast, Cafe de Rene talked about one match he is most proud of. He mentioned one tragedy he went through before the match. The time demanded quick action and thus the wrestler chose what he had to do as a professional.

Kurt said, “I was really proud of that match and the crazy thing is my sister died with heroine overdose the night before and I had to decide last second that if I was gonna wrestle or not and it was a really difficult time in my life to choose.

Even though they were young, their rivalry was a source of great entertainment for most of us. But particularly, the Iron Man Match made history. Discussing which, the former wrestler said, “We even did less pinfalls than I think, who was it..? Rock and Triple H, they had 9 falls, we did 7.”

This also reflects the chemistry the rivals shared in the squared circle. The moves that they used against each other were as historic as the match itself. One must go and check that fight again.
