Despite Near $20 Million Pay Gap And Having to Google Who She Is, Dwayne Johnson Sounds Off On ‘The Little Mermaid’ Star Halle Bailey

Dwayne Johnson may be, one of the busiest Hollywood actors, but he is always free to spend time with his daughters. Similarly,recently he had a wonderful time with them watching the latest Disney movie Little Mermaid. However, ‘The Brahma Bull’ loved the movie, and he praised the lead actress who played the role of Ariel.

The Rock shared a video on his social media talking highly about Halle Bailey. The 23-year-old star earned a whopping $1.5 million paycheck for this role, which is 25 times more than the average salary of an American. Moreover, he was proud of her and clearly happy to have watched the movie along with his daughters.

Dwayne Johnson praises Halle Bailey

Recently, the Jumanji actor shared a heartful post about Little Mermaid actress Halle Bailey. He started with, “The little Queen’s have spoken – we LOVED the LITTLE MERMAID 🧜🏾‍♀️🧜🏾‍♀️🍿🍿👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾”.

Furthermore, he thanked the“amazing” Hall Bailey, film director Rob Marshall and Disney studios for inviting him to watch the movie. Moreover, he called them “gracious and kind” to provide them with toys and snacks.

Additionally, he praised the 23-year-old actress writing, “I’m very impressed with Halle’s performance on the big screen – what presence and charisma, but perhaps more importantly- I’ve been super impressed with Halle’s grace and mana as she’s moved thru this global spotlight with maturity and soul.”

“I didn’t realize it, til these little munchkins asked me to google her 😊 – but Halle’s just a kid herself. Impressive. Halle, keep being the ‘hardest worker in the room’ and sky’s the limit. Look forward to working with you one day,” The WWE Legend wrote.

Surely, Bailey massively impressed The Rock with her work in The Little Mermaid. Hence, Johnson publicly mentioned that he would love to work with her in the future. Surprisingly, that can probably happen in the coming months.

A few days back, DJ announced a live-action Moana film. As the voice actor for the animated Moana film Auli’i Cravalho isn’t reprising the role, Bailey might have a chance to be the lead. Nevertheless, The People’s Champion loved her acting and also felt proud as a dad by undergoing this wholesome experience.

The Rock shares why he felt proud as a dad 

Johnson’s daughters are fans of several Disney films and he makes sure to watch those with them. However, for this specific movie, he felt proud as a dad and mentioned the reason at the end of his tweet.

The 51-year-old star wrote, “And the coolest part of the day – for me – as a proud girl dad – was watching our little girls of color, watch Halle and all the mermaids on the big screen and these little ones didn’t think twice about it because – that’s their norm. All shades, all colors. Very cool.  Congrats again & mahalo and our families had a great time at the movies!”

After Little Mermaid, DJ is ready to bring his live-action Moana film to the audience. Last time, his daughters loved the animated movie but didn’t believe their dad was Maui. Hence, once again, he will have the task of being a proud dad by making his girls happy with the live-action film.
