At the moment, there is no one who is more beloved than Triple H. His work ethic the dedication to making WWE entertaining and treating the wrestlers well have all contributed to making him the best thing to come out of Vince McMahon’s step down in 2022.

But there are still critics who don’t feel like his approach is valuable to the WWE product. Some even say that he has his biases in the roster. Another critic of his recently revealed how The Game didn’t help him when McMahon let him go in 2016.

Former Paul Heyman guy opens up about his relations with Triple H

In the recent podcast episode of Keepin’ It 100, Ryback talked about everything about his case with WWE. From his legal battles to tweets about the WWE drama, Ryback went into everything that he did during the pandemic and after it.

But it was when the host asked him about his relations with Triple H, that he revealed about his time in WWE. He said, “I’d go through him before I’d go to Vince and I told him, ‘You’re the biggest disappointment in my wrestling career. I grew up loving you and you’re just a f*****g disappointment.’ He put his head down and said, ‘Please don’t say that.’ But that’s how I felt.

While he might not have left things with WWE on the best of terms, he won the case to use his ring name and his phrase. This feat is still unheard of in the wrestling industry, as every wrestler who leaves WWE has to change their ring name. But unlike the victory in the courtroom, Ryback’s career never saw a big upswing in his run at WWE.

During 2014-15, Ryback was one of the hottest things in WWE. His feud with CM Punk made everyone take notice immediately and his powerhouse moves got everyone pumping. His ‘Feed Me More’ gimmick made audiences get behind him immediately.

But unluckily WWE had no plans for Ryback, except his feud with Mark Henry or winning the Intercontinental Champion. At one point, he even became a Paul Heyman guy. But just like Cesaro and Curtis Axel, it relegated Ryback to the mid-card, and eventually, WWE let him go.
