WWE is always known to make its wrestlers look larger than life. Be it in the ring, or in promos or on ground promotions. Most of the top WWE superstars are almost made to look like indestructible forces. And one very essential part of this exercise is giving the wrestler a commanding nickname. As in the case of the current superstars, you have ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes, The ‘Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar and The ‘Maverick’ Logan Paul to name a few.

But before all these wrestlers even started their wrestling careers, there was one Superstar whose nicknames and catchphrases became synonymous with the WWE. We are talking about ‘The Rock’ Dwayne Johnson who had another bizarre nickname he thought fans would love.

As any die-hard Rock fan knows, Dwayne Johnson was famous during the ‘Attitude Era’ for his ‘raised eyebrow’ which was famously known as ‘The People’s Eyebrow’. In addition to that he had his signature finishing move called ‘The People’s Elbow’.

And just like that, he also had popular catchphrases like, “It doesn’t matter what your name is!” and “Do you smell what the Rock is cooking?”. But his nicknames were what got the fans really excited. He was known as ‘The Great One’, ‘The People’s Champ’ and ‘The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment’.

But he also once had another really weird nickname he wanted to try out with his fans. On an appearance on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien”, he talked about that bizarre nickname that luckily never saw the light of day. He said, “I have one, i have been saying, but it hasn’t stuck.
