Despite His Infamous Exit, Ex-WWE Star’s Engagement Melts Fans: “He’s Getting Everything Back…God Is Good”

In an industry like wrestling, it’s quite common these days to have a partner associated with the same business. Lately, wrestling fans have witnessed several couples getting married or engaged with their companion from the same platform.

One more addition to the list happened recently when a former WWE star got engaged to AEW host Lexy Nair. 

The announcement about it happened when Lexy post a beautiful picture of the couple’s hands holding each other.

In the alluring photo, one can see a pretty diamond ring on the AEW interviewer’s hand. Along with the captivating picture, a caption was included that read, “Mr. & Mrs. Morrissey coming soon…” 

Fans react to Ex- WWE star getting engaged to AEW host

Talking about the couple in-depth, Nair has been a part of AEW since 2020, whereas Morrissey is a recent addition to the roster. Firstly Lexy became the AEW Outside the Ring’s host and then got to be a backstage interviewer.

But the Big guy has till now only made one appearance in the May episode of “AEW Dynamite.” And as per current updates, he is signed as a member of The Firm. Formerly, Morrissey was known by WWE fans as the Big Cass and Collin Cassady. He is well-known for his work in this promotion. 

Coming back to the couple’s update on their engagement, well, it was received with immense love from fans.

They congratulated both William Morrisey and Lexy Nair for getting engaged and well-wishes the couple for their future. It’s one of those times when fans get more attached and excited for the couple, as both of the personalities are known and have the same origin. 

One fan also highlighted the infamous exit of Morrissey from Impact wrestling in June 2022. The fan mentioned the wrestler is getting back everything, and that God is good to him.

Some fans also sarcastically wrote about Rick Ross, who once flirted with Nair. However, the fans were just teasing the celebrities a little. 

All in all, every fan and also the peer group of Morrisey and the WWE legend’s daughter were happy for them. 

Other wrestling legends are yet to reveal their wedding dates

Apart from this recent couple, numerous WWE superstars have given a glimpse of their personal life to their fans. Especially in recent times, when social media is one channel of information for all, people are well-aware of the lives of their icons.

For example, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch share quite a number of pictures of their daily life since their marriage in 2021. Besides these already-married couples, there are some stars that are yet to reveal their wedding dates, like Sheamus, Nikki Bella, and Dana Brooke.
