Pro wrestling is not child’s play. Wrestlers have to undergo intense training for years to become ready to step inside the squared circle. However, some superstars are born ready to do this. Bad Bunny is a classic example to corroborate this statement.

Despite having no wrestling background whatsoever, he has exceptional in-ring skills. His San Juan Street fight match against Damian Preist was well-received by the WWE Universe. It has been days since the match took place, but the internet is still buzzing about his incredible performance in Puerto Rico.

Even the social media sensation, Logan Paul, can’t stop talking about the Puerto Rican star. Despite being impressed by Bunny’s wrestling skills, ‘The Maverick’ had a few words to say against him on his podcast.

Bad Bunny is a musician, says Logan Paul

In the latest edition of the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Paul, co-host and Youtuber Mike Majlak, and the special guest for the day, Reggaeton music legend Nicky Jam, discussed Bunny’s performances in WWE. All three heavily praised the Puerto Rican star and his pro wrestling skills.

During the show, Paul also took a subtle dig at Bunny. He said Bunny shouldn’t have exceptional wrestling talent, as he is not from a wrestling background. But he does. And that’s what made his wrestling career flourish. Bunny is a musician. He has no business being as good as he is. But he comes in there and crushes it,” he said.

It felt like he meant it as a compliment and a jibe at the same time. Paul and Bunny both come from completely different unrelated to pro wrestling. People often compare them because of this. Bunny comes from a music background, while Paul’s expertise lies in social media influence.

Many fans are unaware Paul wrestled in high school. Therefore, they often compare him to the Puerto Rican rapper, who doesn’t have a wrestling background at all. In the podcast, he revealed it makes him a little uncomfortable when people compare him and Bunny because they have a notion that both of them belong to non-wrestling backgrounds.

He mentioned that he has a sports background, as he was an athlete in high school. While Bunny has no experience in wrestling at all. Keeping everything aside, there is no doubt both stars possess amazing in-ring skills and talent and are huge assets to the Stanford-based promotion.
