Despite Having No Respect for Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins Reveals How the Tribal Chief Motivates Him to Win the World Heavyweight Championship

During an interview with Corey Graves on the show WWE Raw on May 22, Seth Rollins spoke about his relationship with Roman Reigns. Rollins looked excited about the Night of the Champions Premium Live Event that is going to take place on 27 May. He and AJ Styles will battle in the finals for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament. During the interview, when he was questioned about his relationship with Roman Reigns, Rollins made surprising revelations about his thoughts on the Tribal Chief.

Rollins revealed the unique bond the wrestlers share. Speaking on the love and hate relationship between them, he commented, “that’s brotherhood”.

Talking candidly about his relationship with Roman Reigns, Rollins has mixed feelings. He expressed, “I love Roman Reigns but I don’t like Roman Reigns. That’s brotherhood right. I will always have love for that man. When everyone in the world have made us their enemies Roman was there for me.”

But, quickly shifting his tone, Rollins continued, “but the person he has become and the champion he has become I have got no respect for that. And I just think he is been poisoned by his own ego and the biggest thing is that championship. He is taking opportunities away from everybody else that is about as selfish as you can be. I want to become the heavyweight champion so we can all forget about Roman Reigns.” 

Rollins opened up about his disappointment regarding Roman Reigns and thinks he is consumed by his ego.

Rollins admits that he loves Reigns and appreciates him. He thinks of Reigns as a source of inspiration and motivation for him. His attitude regarding fellow wrestlers and helping nature has gained him a lot of respect from his competitors.

Rollins wants to win the Heavyweight title for other reasons

Where Rollins has massive respect for the Tribal Chief for supporting him, but he says he does not respect him for the Champion he has become. Rollins emphasized that he desires to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship so that everyone forgets about Reigns once in for all.

Rollins thinks that his own reign can be the beginning of a fresh change. Despite his strong disapproval of Reigns, Rollins believes he is a source of motivation for him. Rollins hopes to reclaim the spotlight and dethrone the Tribal Chief.

WWE fans know Rollins for his relentless drive in the ring. While it remains for fans to see how Rollin’s new found motivation will translate into his success. There is no denial about the fact that fire has been ignited in his heart and Rollins looks determined to win.
