CM Punk has been garnering a lot of heat because of his behavior at AEW’s All Out last year. From cutting ties with WWE almost a decade ago to criticizing his colleagues in Tony Khan’s promotion last year, each incident has its own controversial story behind it.

Many pro wrestlers have expressed their desire to not share a locker room with ‘The Best In The World’. But WWE legend, The Undertaker, shares a completely different opinion about the former WWE Champion. He also addressed the rumors of him having “beef” with Punk.

The Undertaker recently sat down for a virtual interview with Inside the Ropes. Alex McCarthy, the host of the show, asked him about his epic WrestleMania 29 match against Punk. He stated he had a pleasant experience while working with his 2013 WrestleMania opponent.

Referring to his WrestleMania 29 match, he said that while preparing for the match, both the superstars gave in their inputs and decided how to execute their match at The Grandest Stage of Them All. “He was great to work with. I’m very proud of that match. We sat down and we thought about ideas and everything. It was great,” stated Taker.

The Dead Man denies the rumors of having a beef with Punk

After Punk lost his WWE Championship at the 2013 Royal Rumble, he shifted his focus to ending Taker’s streak at WrestleMania 29. Though he put up a splendid match against his opponent, he was unsuccessful in breaking the then-undefeated streak.

After this match, people started to gossip that The Phenom and Punk don’t get along with each other.

In the interview, The Dead Man quashed these rumors once and for all. He claimed he has no hard feelings for the 2-time WWE Champion. Both wrestlers had a professional relationship with each other during their time in WWE. He elucidated “I had no beef with Punk. He was always business with me. Hopefully, I was with him [too].”

He added that the former MMA star was always nice to him and that he and the former WWE wrestler are on good terms. He then took a shot at those who have little knowledge about stuff and start rumors online without knowing the whole aspect of a story.

“Everybody thinks they’re an expert, but they really have no clue. It’s ridiculous online. Business has always been business, and I had no problem with him [Punk] and he was always business with me,” Taker stated.
