From his entrance theme to his attire, wrestling fans love everything about ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes. Since Cody Rhodes made his return to WWE, he has been placed as the top babyface in the WWE. However, he lost his recently won Undisputed Tag Team title on Monday Night RAW.

Despite his loss, Cody Rhodes still looks a strong performer, often put on the same level as Roman Reigns. Now with his 4th loss, he’s put on the same elite list as Roman Reigns.

Cody Rhodes is on the same level as Roman Reigns

Wrestle Features posted a picture of Cody Rhodes from this week’s Monday Night RAW in a grey suit. The caption for the tweet read, “Last night’s loss was only Cody Rhodes’ fourth defeat since returning to WWE last year. He still has only been pinned on one occasion. #WWERAW.”

It was a reference to the main event match from Monday Night RAW when Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso faced The Judgment Day for the Undisputed Tag Team title. Though Rhodes and Uso lost their title, Rhodes was not the one to be pinned here.

Cody Rhodes was pinned on Night 2 of WrestleMania 39 by Roman Reigns after a chaotic match that saw interferences from many superstars. Besides this, Rhodes has lost one match to Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions, and against The Miz and Finn Balor for the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament.

It marked the 4th loss for Cody Rhodes since he made his return at WrestleMania 38 against Seth Rollins. Despite his 4 losses, Rhodes has only been pinned once till now. Rhodes is already on an elite list of who has slayed The Beast Incarnate. He is also now on the same elite list as The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns despite his recent loss. 

Jey Uso is the only man to pin Roman Reigns

Throughout his run as The Tribal Chief, Reigns has only failed to defeat Seth Rollins during his match at SummerSlam 2022. Though Reigns retained his Universal Championship, he lost the match through DQ. Interestingly, Reigns has never defeated Seth Rollins in his WWE career.

The Tribal Chief has only been pinned once since 2020 when he was defeated by The Usos at MITB, this year. Jey Uso was able to pin Roman Reigns after a disguised low blow and several super kicks. It allowed Jey Uso to deliver an Uso splash to The Head of The Table. Despite the loss, The Tribal Chief looked strong in the booking.
