With Money in the Bank less than a week away, WWE is pulling out all the stops to promote the upcoming megaevent. The WWE previously advertised that the next edition of Raw would see a MITB Summit involving the female participants of the ladder match. However, Trish Stratus gave a concerning update about her appearance on Raw.
It’s no secret that the most onerous aspect of being a pro wrestler is being on the road 365 days a year. Wrestlers are away from their homes as their jobs entail traveling from arena to arena. Trish Stratus took to her social media to reveal that her flight faced cancellation. Nevertheless, ‘Stark Industries’ offered her help.

Last week on Raw, Trish Stratus qualified to participate in the women’s Money in the Bank match. An inadvertent physical contact with Becky Lynch disqualified Raquel Rodriguez, allowing Stratus to enter the tournament alongside Zoey Stark. Stratus and Stark are competing against Becky Lynch, Zelina Vega, Bayley, and Iyo Sky. Although Trish has support from Zoey Stark, it is every woman for herself.
At one point today, it was uncertain if Trish could make her appearance on the go-home show before Money in the Bank. Taking to Instagram, the former Women’s Champion relayed that the airport authorities had canceled her flight. She also added that the WWE travel personnel are doing their best to have her transported to Savannah, Georgia.
She wrote, “Flight canceled. Travel team working diligently to get me to #WWERaw for this Summit to save Savannah from being bored to death with @itsmebayley & @iyo_sky, hot headed @beckylynchwwe and little Miss Dress Up @zelinavegawwe 🥱 #SaviourStratus. At least there will for sure be some #StarkPower @zoeystarkwwe”

Furthermore, Trish Stratus’ appearance at the Summit is paramount due to her star power. In response to Stratus’ traveling issue, Zoey Stark responded stating, “I’ll send a helicopter from Stark Industries to pick you up”.

Meanwhile, interestingly enough, Trish Stratus later revealed that she was rebooked and was on her way to Savannah. Now that Stratus’ appearance on Raw is confirmed, we will have to wait and see how things play out at the Money in the Bank Summit.
Much like Trish Stratus, another WWE female superstar found herself in a somewhat similar situation, except it was dangerous.
Bianca Belair found herself in a risky situation just hours before SmackDown
Last Friday Night, SmackDown emanated from Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana. And Bianca Belair had a rather turbulent journey to the venue of SmackDown.
The former Raw Women’s Champion shared a clip on her IG story showing her flight facing bad weather. While it was concerning to see the clip, Belair, thankfully, made it to SmackDown safely.

However, she was surprised when Adam Pearce revealed to her that she was banned from ringside next week when Asuka would defend her Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair.
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see Trish Stratus’ involvement in the Money in the Bank Summit. The Hall of Famer has never participated in a Money in the Bank ladder match in her storied career.
