As his feud with Roman Reigns kicked off, the son of the legendary late wrestler, Dusty Rhodes faced a personal attack from Paul Heyman on RAW a few weeks ago.

However, Rhodes’ electric response sent shockwaves throughout the WWE community. Therefore, Rhodes explained why he became so emotional during that segment. Moreover, fans wanted to know if he’s mellowed down a bit, since he turned a father on June 18, 2022.

Cody Rhodes is just biding time to unleash his rage

Cody Rhodes addressed some key issues, in a recent interview on Out of Character with Ryan Satin. But among those, the WWE superstar spoke about his promo with the Wise Man of WWE. The 2023 Royal Rumble winner got a lot of reaction from WWE fans during that interaction. However, Rhodes clarified that it was out of his own will and that he still carries some ‘wild blood’.

Rhodes said, “I think it might have been a free bird. It was telling me man like you’re like talking about me and the old man saying ‘you got wild blood…’ you know and I don’t feel that way, I feel I’m a father now.” But, immediately concluded, “I feel like maybe I’m kind of venturing adulthood finally uh but, yeah it’s in there for sure.” referring to the fact that he still has some of that rage within.

Therefore, The American Nightmare will look to haunt Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns, with his fury at WrestleMania 39.

Fans can’t wait to see Rhodes take on the Undisputed WWE champion, Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. However, some fresh news caused a stir among fans of the latter regarding Roman Reigns possibly taking time off. Even Heyman addressed the fact that Roman Reigns might take a break after the upcoming event.

Therefore, fans have speculated that Rhodes, one of the top babyfaces of WWE, could take over the mantle of the top guy in WWE from The Tribal Chief, ending his 900+ days streak as an undefeated world champion.
