Despite Being Present Backstage, 47-Year-Old WWE Legend Failed to Complete Raw Return Due to a “Creative Change”

With WrestleMania 39 being just six weeks away, WWE creatives are doing everything to build as much as massive hype as possible. Sami Zayn’s betrayal, Beth Phoenix and Edge’s return along with Logan Paul attacking Seth Rollins, all are some of the amazing cards that WWE is shown from time to time.

The WWE chief content officer Triple H has promised the fans a phenomenal WrestleMania this year, and it seems like he is working hard for the same. However, WWE Universe doesn’t seem much satisfied with it. 

Fans are criticizing Triple H for poor bookings and creative blunders. And the same happened in the latest episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. It was reported that a 47-year-old WWE legend was present in the area this Monday and was set to return. However, it didn’t happen due to a ‘creative change’.

WWE creatives disrupted the return of a WWE legend

The legend was none other than 7-time WWE women’s champion Trish Stratus. The WWE Hall of Famer was scheduled to make her comeback during the ‘Ding Dong Hello’ segment of Raw. She was supposed to join the forces with ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch, but she left the arena before that. WWE explained the decision to ‘Fightful’ as a ‘creative change’.

During the ‘Ding Dong Hello’ segment, Bayley invited the women’s tag team champions Dakota Kai and IYO SKY as special guests. While ‘Damage CTRL’ were flaunting their championship reign, Becky Lynch interrupted them.

Becky made clear that she has set her eyes on the tag team titles and she was ready to capture them with WWE legend Lita by her side. And with that being said, the 4 time WWE woman champion made her way to the ring. The crowd went crazy with her return. 

However, it was not the only surprise that WWE had. Trish Stratus was also there and ready to return. But things didn’t go according to plan. The faction of Lynch and Lita is still short of one member as compared to the team of ‘Damage CTRL’ and Bayley, so it could be possible that fans will witness Stratus’s return sooner enough before WrestleMania 39. But for now, WWE Universe has to wait.
