The 69-year-old recently spoke about it in an interaction with actor and comic Theo Von. Have you been able to guess what Hogan shares with Lesnar? Let’s find out if what you thought was right or not.

Hogan is a 12-time world champion and arguably the greatest wrestler to have graced the squared circle. One would imagine that it was his love for sports entertainment that did the trick. But no. According to The Immortal One, he hated the business.

Well, not the whole. He hated the traveling aspect of the business. This is also a similarity he shares with Brock Lesnar, who detests travel so much that he bought a private plane simply in order to not travel to the airports. Lesnar also hired a private pilot, according to WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.

Sharing his hate for traveling, Hogan told Von: “I hated it. I hated the business because of traveling and no sleep.” The 2-time WWE Hall of Famer said that it made him choose between going to the gym, sleeping, and eating. He said while gym was always his priority, sleep came last.

Hogan detailed how the tight schedule would leave him without resting. Stating that he flew 300 days a year during his prime, Hogan said there were also times when flights would not depart on time. As a result, he would end up spending the day at the airport. This would then force him to alter his schedule and he would mostly end up going to the venue directly.

From busting open to gatecrashing birthday party- Brock Lesnar and Hulk Hogan’s feud in WWE

Brock Lesnar made his debut in WWE on March 18, 2022, just hours after the iconic bout between Hogan and Dwayne Johnson at WrestleMania 18. Even as a debutant, Lesnar was intimidating and soon had a match with the 69-year-old.

The bout was set up for an episode of SmackDown in August 2002. Lesnar dominated proceedings right from the start and even though he got hit a few times, the young wrestler overcame his much-experienced opponent. Lesnar used a bear hug to get the win. Then, he used a chair to bust open Hogan’s head, leaving him bloodied.

The two next met on Hogan’s birthday celebration 12 years later. On the August 14, 2014 episode of RAW, Lesnar and Paul Heyman crashed Hogan’s party, that the veteran was having with his friends. In an act of insult, Lesnar said, “Party’s over grandpa”. Though John Cena rushed to the ring to defend the 12-time world champion, Hogan by himself was no match for The Beast. Apart from that, Hogan once publicly called out Lesnar for crossing the line.
