What would happen when fame and power went hand in hand? The same scenario can happen with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the near future. Well, the 51-year-old was asked numerous times about his thoughts on fighting elections to be the President of the United States. The fans had hopes that he could be standing in the 2024 US Presidential elections, but they didn’t see Johnson there. However, now it seems he has the answer to it.

‘The Great One’ recently sat with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. There, he revealed his statements on the hot topic of him possibly being in the race of presidential elections. But what did he actually say? Let’s find out.

Dwayne Johnson could run for President in the near future

Dwayne Johnson is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the Hollywood industry. The 51-year-old has made it clear on several occasions that he intends to run for president. Sure enough, he said that he would definitely give it some thought in the future during a recent interview. But not at this time. Addressing Fallon’s doubts he said, “I think down the road for sure. I’ve said this before. I’ve… I’m a proud girl dad. I have a 22-year-old, I have a 7 and I have a 5. So they’re all age ranges. And my 22-year-old I like to say we grew up together.”

He further said, “And at that time, I was wrestling full time, 230 dates, 200 wrestling matches a year so I was always gone. And I know what that’s like to have an occupation that takes me away from being a daddy. And this time around with my 7 and my 5 year old, I want to be daddy. And that’s the most important thing to me so.”

Considering his enormous stature, it won’t be surprising to see him stand in the elections. However, he has only teased it, but it will be interesting to see if he fully invests himself in politics. He even revealed recently that his goal has never been to be in politics.

Dwayne Johnson revealed why he never gave that a thought

Johnson appeared on the What Now? with Trevor Noah podcast. There, he laid revealed that he was approached by two of the major parties, in the form of Democrats and Republicans. He said, “At the end of 2022, I got a visit from the parties, asking me if I was going to run, if I could run, “My goal has never been to be in politics. As a matter of fact, there is a lot about politics that I hate,” 

He further explained why he could give it a thought in the future. He said, “If that’s truly what the people want, then of course I will consider it.” That’s undoubtedly fantastic news for those who want to see him become involved in politics. For now, though, he just wants to be a proud father and enjoy time with his daughters.
