At WrestleMania 38, Rhodes returned to one of the grandest returns of all time. And for the past year, he has been booked as one of the most dominant names on the roster. However, last year, after getting injured Rhodes would lose a lot of momentum.
He would gain some of it at Royal Rumble, but he still failed to capture the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 39 against Roman Reigns. Post which, he involved himself in a feud with Lesnar, and defeated him once.
The American Nightmare is desperately in need of this win against Brock Lesnar, and establish himself as a major threat. With his story still not unfinished, Rhodes needs to come out of this feud looking strong, and later continue on his path to become the WWE Champion.
