LA Knight has finally received a big break from WWE’s creative team after being the most-loved star for months. The 40-year-old has finally been given a chance by Triple H to feature in a big main event at 2023 Fastlane. However, LA Knight still has an Achilles Heel that can easily thwart his newfound push.

LA Knight has seen all phases a WWE wrestler can face, including both the good and the bad. While he is currently getting a big push, there are chances that his backstage antics can spell trouble for him.

LA Knight can lose it all with one slip of the tongue

LA Knight has been riding the wave with the crowd for a huge chunk of 2023. The stellar rise in his popularity was unexpected, since he didn’t do anything special to win the crowd over. However, unlike Sami Zayn who saw a similar cheer, Knight’s fan following has only increased. The most surprising bit about it is that not too long ago, he was almost thrown out of the company.

While his previous fiasco with the Maximum Male Models was shockingly pardoned, there’s a high chance his new mistakes won’t be. Especially since LA Knight doesn’t seem to be in anybody’s good books backstage. Knight’s words may be winning the crowd over, but they are rubbing people the wrong way off-set. This is resulting in him being horribly bad at backstage politics. In fact, he can easily face a severe backlash because of it.

While LA Knight is over with the crowd currently, this electric response will also see a downfall after some time. In such cases, the company would also not see much reason in pushing him forward, and would effectively replace him. Thus, Knight can easily be the saboteur of his own career leap.

While his lack of diplomacy may be a possible storm in the making, LA Knight is only moving upward right now. In fact, several indicators showcase that he has already become a platinum entity for WWE.

The insurmountable rise of LA Knight

LA Knight has almost completely annexed the territory of all major WWE wrestlers. Knight has only been receiving mid-card events and matchups so far, but he has salvaged every ounce of footage he has received. The 40-year-old’s appearance in a small SmackDown promo garnered more views on X than the main promotion outlined by Roman Reigns‘ The Bloodline. While his presence is snubbing current wrestlers, even legends aren’t safe from his domination.

LA Knight recently shot an advertisement for a cereal that received an overwhelming response from the WWE Universe. In fact, within just six days of the ad’s release on WWE’s YouTube channel, it surpassed the historic re-arrival of The Rock. The most electrifying man in the world of pro wrestling was easily beaten in terms of views by Knight despite having a very ordinary career compared to Dwayne Johnson.

Thus, the chances of the crowd’s response dying down for LA Knight seem almost non-existent. While his inability to choose the right words may be a problem, the WWE Universe will always have his back. What are your thoughts on this?
