Unlike his 2011 run, where fans hated him and he was a part-timer, the post-COVID Brock Lesnar has been doing great things in WWE. To most people, his reintroduction with the cowboy gear was peak Lesnar. But along with his gimmick change, Lesnar also came in with a breath of fresh air.

In this run, he isn’t concerned about his title runs or losing to top stars, he’s more concerned about putting in an impressive performance. Seeing this, a wrestling veteran spoke about how Lesnar’s change is selfless more than anything.

On this podcast, The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the former tag champion reveals his opinion on Brock Lesnar. Discussing the Beast Incarnate’s rise and exit to meeting Lesnar in person and even wrestling him occasionally. All of this culminated in Hardy talking about the current version of Lesnar in WWE at the moment.

He said, “If you get in there and you touch him and you’ve had any sort of athleticism, you know how real and genuine and unbelievably explosive he is. So, the fact that he is cool with coming in beating up people and breaking their arms, but then at the very end of the program, put over this guy and then take some time off and endorse him, I think it speaks volumes about him realizing where he’s at.

Just this SummerSlam, Lesnar proved that he is looking forward and helping WWE establish stars. With his defeat at the hands of Cody Rhodes, Lesnar went out of his way to endorse Rhodes as the next top guy. But this wasn’t the only time that Lesnar helped a newbie in the business. His WrestleMania 39 match is a testament to this.

The Nigerian Giant Omos revealed how Lesnar acted as his mentor backstage before his biggest match. Not only did he help Omos in the ring, but he shared advice that is still helping Omos months after their altercation.
