Brock Lesnar joined WWE in 2000. From the beginning of his tenure in the Stamford-based promotion, Paul Heyman was there to guide him to the top. Currently, Heyman serves as the Special Counsel for his Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. However, he was beside Lesnar for most of his WWE career.

He served as the manager for ‘The Beast Incarnate’ for almost half a dozen years. Plus, they are also great friends. Thus, he knows his former client on a deeper level. Lesnar is a man of many talents. But there is one talent that Heyman admires the most and it has something to do with Vince McMahon.

Mr. McMahon and Lesnar are complete opposites in the sense that the former’s greatest strength is his mind and the latter’s is his body. But according to the 57-year-old wrestling manager, both the stars have something in common.

Paul Heyman praises Brock Lesnar’s negotiation skills

Heyman recently appeared as the special guest for Tetragrammaton with Rick Rubin. Speaking in the interview, he spoke highly of Lesnar’s negotiation skills. He claimed he is as good as the 77-year-old WWE Chairman when it comes to negotiating deals.

“I have seen him in a room negotiating with Vince McMahon, who is not bad at it, I might add, and he matches. He’s great. He is a brilliant human being, and he speaks… My father was this way. My father was a fascinatingly eloquent man,” he said. 

He then compared his former client to his father and confessed that he reminds him very much of his father. His father also had a way with words, just like Lesnar.

Heyman talks about his father’s exceptional talent

During the interview, Heyman also explained some of the outstanding qualities that his father possessed. His father was a prominent attorney and had the talent for making even the toughest subject easy to understand for everyone. He mentioned that whenever his father spoke to Juries, even a layman would understand what he was saying.

It didn’t matter what educational background a person came from, the words that his father spoke used to be so intelligible that anyone could comprehend the meaning. He mentioned Lesnar has the same quality as his father.
