One of the biggest impacts that a wrestler has is on the young kids that come to watch their shows. Whether it is WWE or AEW, wrestlers connect well with children in meet-and-greets or other events. But this goes to another level when wrestlers do the same for their young fans during the show. Saraya, formerly Paige, has recently promised a young fan a similar thing.
Coming back after 7 years from a career-threatening injury to a grand reception, Saraya is one of the biggest wrestlers in the company right now. But after a feud with the established stars, she turned heel. But it didn’t resonate well with the public. Despite that, she just promised a young fan a huge thing at the next AEW show.

Yesterday a fan tweeted his daughter’s love for Saraya and her biography, Fighting with the Family. Then he talked about the treatment she gets from people in her school for being different from them. He told the former Divas Champion that she’ll be coming to the next episode of AEW Dynamite, on March 22, 2023. He added at the end that she’ll be excited to meet her as well as the CEO, Tony Khan.
Please give your daughter a big hug from me. Where are your guys seats Wednesday? I’ll do it myself https://t.co/tkTEgva2vH
— SARAYA (@Saraya) March 21, 2023
Surprisingly, Saraya saw the tweet and quoted it. She asked the man where their seats were and she’ll be happy to give her a hug on that day as well. This is a rare thing as we never see wrestlers interacting directly with the fans on Twitter.
In wrestling, there’s an unwritten rule about heels in any company not doing anything that a babyface would do. But even people before Saraya have done things for young fans despite being heels. Even the biggest heel in WWE right now, Roman Reigns also gave a high-five to a young kid who won the Ultimate Warrior award, Jarrius Robertson.

Moreover, Saraya’s recent heel turn has not been received by fans in the best way. Week after week, we see people on Twitter talking about how her segments with Toni Storm and Ruby Soho are not going anywhere. So, this comes as a surprise that Saraya would still be on Twitter despite the continuous hate on the social media platform.
