Drew McIntyre proved himself when he outlasted the six wrestlers in the men’s Elimination Chamber this year. As a reward, ‘The Scottish Psychopath’ is receiving the opportunity to wrestle Seth Rollins for his World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 this year. Although McIntyre isn’t new to title bouts, he hasn’t been able to challenge one at Mania following the pandemic era.

Now, fans will be able to see the former WWE Champion wrestle in front of the biggest crowd recorded in a WWE PLE. This was not only a proud moment for the wrestler himself, but his family also seemed to be on board.

In 2020, the Scottish wrestler got the chance to challenge Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36. As a result, the two superstars wrestled for the WWE Championship and The Beast Incarnate had to hand over the belt to his opponent after he won the match. Although the victory was hard-earned, the sad part was that it took place in the Thunderdome era and fans had to watch the match online.

After four years, McIntyre has received the same opportunity, and this time around, 60K+ fans are expected to be present in the stadium to hype up the spots and watch the wrestler perform. This was a solid realization for McIntyre’s brother, who said, “The excitement I am feeling for #WrestleMania is unreal. Seeing Drew walk out in front of 60,000+ and the chance of him getting that moment, the one he deserved in 2020. Looking forward to the build up but either way it’ll be a proud night for the family.

The 38-year-old has made his sibling proud of this achievement. Whether McIntyre ends up bagging the title or not, it would still be a proud night for his family, supporting him from all sides.

Although he is rumored to leave the promotion after Mania, WWE is still presenting him with various opportunities.

Drew McIntyre got a new deal

Apart from the Stamford-based company booking him against the World Heavyweight Champion for WrestleMania 40, McIntyre also partnered up with a company to sponsor himself. The company in question is Slim Jim. At SummerSlam this year, this contract was launched when LA Knight won a battle royale match. And now, McIntyre has stolen it.
