When asked about his journey through surgeries in a video by Men’s Health, Hogan said that too many surgeries can “mess with you“. Among all his surgeries, one stands out for ‘The Hulkster’. “Especially when you come out of surgery number six and they tell you ‘you’re never gonna walk again, ” the wrestler told Men’s Health.

After ‘The Hulkster’ had already gotten six surgeries performed on him, doctors gave up and told him he won’t ever be able to walk again. However, the wrestling legend did not give up.

Hogan tried his luck with another doctor. This time, he was informed that he would need to undergo some extra surgeries to be able to walk again. So, from six surgeries, the number went up to 10. But in the end, it was all good.

So, yeah, mentally it’s been a check and balance system of highs and lows. But to get onto the other side, and to have faith and to believe… It was a test of faith; so, I’m good,” Hogan said.
