“Definitely Not in the Rumble”: John Cena and Wife Being Spotted in Sydney Comes as Bad News for Fans of 16X World Champion

John Cena tied his knot in 2020. However, prior to that, he had been in a relationship with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella for seven years. Cena had even publicly proposed to Bella after their match at WrestleMania 33. However, a year later they would break up, and go on their separate ways. A few years later, after his breakup with Bella, he would marry Shay Shariatzadeh in 2020. He is currently married to her. Cena would find fame in Hollywood and leave WWE as a full-timer.

Recently rumors started doing rounds of John Cena making his way to WWE for a short-stint which would start from his return at the Royal Rumble. However, some new pictures have popped up which have left the fans disappointed.

Cena last appeared on the last episode of 2022’s WWE SmackDown. He teamed up with Kevin Owens to face the pair of Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns. The match saw Owens and Cena come out victorious of it after pinning Zayn.

Recently, rumors started popping up of John Cena returning at the 2023 Royal Rumble, and then later facing either Austin Theory or Logan Paul at WrestleMania 39. However, after the latest pictures popped up of John Cena and his wife in Australia, fans started worrying if Cena would appear at the Rumble or not.

The entire WWE Universe was awaiting John Cena’s return to WWE via the Royal Rumble. However, as things are going so far, his appearance is still not confirmed. He was recently spotted in Australia with his wife.

As Cena appeared in Australia, his chances of appearing at the Rumble diminished further, since the Royal Rumble is less than 24 hours away. Nevertheless, WWE fans started reacting to Cena’s Royal Rumble appearance after he was spotted in the county down under.
