Even a complete stranger to WWE’s world is also familiar with the name Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Thanks to the phenomenal wrestling figure’s enriching Hollywood career he has made a name for himself on a global scale. But his fame and popularity aren’t only confined to his professional excellence. Rather, The Rock became a role model to millions who look up to his ideas, thoughts, and inspiring life experiences to implement in their own life.
The former world champion has been a firm idealistic in his own life. He always holds a vision behind every action and is quite smooth in articulating them to the fans for their clarity. But as they say, perfection is a myth. Nobody is perfect, not even the highest-paid Hollywood heartthrob.

The Rock also has his fair share of mistakes and regrets in life, just like most of us have. One of his biggest guilt was shoplifting from a Hawaii 7-Eleven store in his hometown at the age of 14. But he amended his mistakes with a genuine effort years later. It might sound very weird, but the Jumanji star himself admitted his mischief during several interviews so far.
He used to steal Snickers bars from a local grocery store for his pre-workout cravings, as he couldn’t afford chocolates back then. He did it for almost one year, but the underlying guilt it brought used to haunt him for the rest of his years.
While most celebrities don’t want to share any single negative thing about them so that their well-furnished image won’t be tarnished in any way, The Rock doesn’t care at all. He again proved himself an exemplary man by unveiling the truth about his early years through an Instagram video with a long caption.

In one part of the caption, DJ revealed how kind the clerk of that shop was to him to let him go without snatching his head. “I was broke as hell, so I used to steal a king-sized @snickers EVERY DAY from 7-11 for almost a year when I was 14yrs old, on my way to the gym. The Snickers was my pre-daily workout. The same clerk was there every day and always just turned her head and never busted me. (sic)” he wrote.
However, Johnson didn’t take that kindness for granted and waited years for grabbing the perfect opportunity to return the favor.
The Rock corrected his wrong in a thoughtful way
It’s never too late to correct your mistakes, something that The Rock showed the world by describing how he ultimately came back to his hometown and went to that particular shop to compensate for his age-old mischief. The 50-year-old brought every chocolate bar on the shelves and left it there in the shop for strangers. He also paid for other customers’ groceries for the day.
DJ left the store with a deep message to the clerk that says, “If somebody looks like they’re stealing Snickers, give them these so they don’t steal them.”

The Rock never fails to stand out in his unique way of seeing things in a different light. While on the surface level, it might look like he did it all to flaunt his present success against his past petty mistake, it wasn’t true at all. The Brahma Bull has a beautiful philosophy behind his corrective action.
The wrestler-turned-actor concluded his video with a thoughtful note that says, ”We can’t change the past and some of the dumb stuff we may have done, but every once in a while we can add a little redeeming grace note to that situation — and maybe put a big smile on some stranger’s faces.”
