Since the post-WrestleMania 40 episode of Raw, WWE programming has been flooded with QR codes sent by what is rumored to be a returning Uncle Howdy. Lately, he has been using other formats as well. The WWE WhatsApp channel and the company’s X profile have been the platform for his messages. Uncle Howdy has even going so far as to take over the promotion’s website. And his latest message may revealed his return date.
Rumors suggest that Uncle Howdy, who first showed up last year with the late Bray Wyatt, will usher in a new era by bringing in a new faction under his stead called the Wyatt 6. Fans and insiders have also speculated on who the possible members can be and now they have a date to look forward to their potential debut.

After Bray Wyatt’s sad demise, the WWE Universe has been awaiting his brother Bo Dallas, most likely the person behind Uncle Howdy to show up. Although Howdy made a few appearances during Wyatt’s last WWE tenure, they were unsatisfactory. But now the hype has been building with vignettes and cryptic messages across many WWE platforms and programming.
Last week, an Uncle Howdy message was posted on WWE’s website with a possible date of June 17 for a return. The URL on the WWE.com post read “71enuj” which is June 17 backwards. Notably, June 17 is a Monday with the post-Clash at the Castle Raw live from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christie, Texas. The message from Uncle Howdy read, “I accepted my calling. Only then was I able to set the others free. We are going to burn it to the ground. A massacre is coming.” This was also discussed by wrestling insider Sean Ross Sapp.
In the latest edition of the Frightful Wrestling podcast, Denise Salcedo and Sean Ross Sapp talked about the much-awaited return of Uncle Howdy and his Wyatt 6. When a user asked the wrestling insider for a date in mind, Sapp revealed the date might have been given away.
The notable wrestling insider said, “It seems more like they’re hinting towards June 17 with this stuff.” Denise Salcedo further talked about the WWE website hack that revealed it all. “I think it was in Friday SmackDown QR code. It was like WWE.com/June17 but spelled backwards. I feel like that’s it. That’s a dead giveaway right there, right?”
Last week on June 3, during Monday Night Raw, Howdy dropped another QR code and a message which aired during the bumper for RAW Talk.
The message from Howdy was, “I have shown you signs and wonders. Yet you do not believe? I offered you hope. Freedom from the pit. You spit in my face. Mock my family. Question my timing. One last chance, an opportunity to repent. But my patience runs thin. There is a reckoning coming. Your belief is indifferent. It is inevitable. You will learn you are finite. And you shall all behold what we have become. A massacre is coming.”
For now, we’ll have to keep an eye on the next few weeks to see if this debut date of the Uncle Howdy faction on television finally materializes. But fans surely are waiting to see it finally happen. However, the WWE too has to make sure that they do not stretch it too long. As we all remember, “Veer Mahaan is coming to Raw” became a joke for the fans and killed all the surrounding hype.
Meanwhile, who could debut alongside a returning Uncle Howdy? Well, it has its own set of clues.
SmackDown episode gave an hint on the possible members of Wyatt 6 faction
On the May 24th episode of WWE SmackDown, during the entrance of Austin Theory & Grayson Waller, a new set of QR codes flashed across the screen. The code led the viewers to an archive website with had a lot of clues, with each carrying a different image or video or simply another QR code.

One of the images on the website read, “The one was abandoned. Left for dead.” This might be an indication of Joe Gacy getting abandoned and begging for approval as part of The Schism in NXT. A poem titled “SHE,” a part of which read, “When SHE speaks, mountains should tremble. It’s waiting for her…” was also available. This was deciphered by many as a hint at Alexa Bliss coming back to WWE programming.
Another clue hinted at Nikki Cross, with the message, “This one searched for a friend, she found none. So she stared into the abyss…” Cross and Bliss were friends on-screen. However, in 2020, Bliss attacked Nikki Cross on WWE RAW, officially ending their friendship and hence Cross lost a friend.
One more hint which read, “This one is loyal. His family was not..” was thought to be about Dexter Lumis. Lumis was associated with NXT faction, The Way, but Johnny Gargano never approved of him and he was not officially accepted.

Finally, former Wyatt Family member, Eric Rowan has been rumored to join the faction and the QR Code clue read which read, “This one brings me joy. He already knows the way…” points to his return.
With all that said, the anticipation for the debut of the Wyatt 6 is building. If it comes to fruition on June 17, fans will expect the faction to deliver on the hype and live up to the legacy of Bray Wyatt.
