Hollywood megastar Dwayne Johnson has been frequently teasing Henry Cavill’s return as Superman. While Cavill made a cameo in Johnson’s latest release, Black Adam, the former’s future as Kal-El is uncertain.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dwayne Johnson’s over-hyping of Superman may not go down well with DC’s new management.

While Johnson has said that his film will make profits between $52 million and $72 million, DC is unlikely to entertain a sequel due to rising costs, according to a report.

With Black Adam not doing the expected numbers, The Rock’s claim of changing the hierarchy of the DC Universe has fallen flat.
