Roman Reigns may have achieved one of the most incredible feats in the history of WWE. But was the price paid to emerge at the top worth it? The answer could be quite debatable. Yes, The Tribal Chief has cemented his legacy as one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time. Yes, he is still the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

But does he still have his family behind him? The answer was pretty clear at last weekend’s WWE Night of Champions. Moreover, one of the people behind his family’s demise, Kevin Owens reminded Reigns of that once again with a direct shot.

The Head of the Table was basking in his glory as the ultimate ruler of WWE. In fact, WWE Night of Champions was supposed to be a monumental night for him. He touched the 1000-day mark as the undefeated and undeniable world champion. Moreover, Roman Reigns was looking to make it more special by also adding the Undisputed WWE tag team titles to his collection with Solo Sikoa.

But his historic night turned into a disaster. Reigns and Sikoa battled Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the tag titles. A spot in the match saw Jimmy and Jey Uso coming to the aid of their family while the referee was out cold. However, they accidentally double super kicked Solo, causing Roman to snap at them. Reaching his absolute breaking point, Jimmy Uso lost his cool and super-kicked the Tribal Chief.

This effectively meant that The Usos were done taking marching orders from Roman Reigns. However, it is no secret that KO and Zayn’s supposed quest to crumble the Bloodline for months had finally succeeded.

Furthermore, Owens did not hesitate to take another jab at Reigns on the following RAW. He came out with Sami Zayn to address their victory, wearing The Bloodline’s tee. WWE posted this on their BT Sport account on Twitter.

Owens indirectly reminded Roman that he no longer had “The Ones” by his side.

The Usos finally snapped after months of tension

Ever since Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were thrown into the mix, The Bloodline had not been as tight as they were. Tensions were on full display, whether it was Jey Uso being manipulated by Zayn’s reasoning, Solo Sikoa almost knocking down his actual brothers, or Roman Reigns’ anger leading to constantly berating his family.

Things escalated even more when The Usos lost the tag team titles to KO and Zayn in the main event of WrestleMania 39 and failed to regain them. This led to the Tribal Chief stepping up himself with Solo to teach the Usos a lesson in victory and being champion. However, Roman’s worst nightmare came true and now he does not have The Usos by his side.
