Days After Retaining His Titles at Elimination Chamber, Roman Reigns Set to Face Sami Zayn Again

Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn are two of the most over superstars in the current landscape of WWE. While Reigns has maintained his legacy for the past three years as the top heel, Zayn rose to prominence recently after becoming allies with The Bloodline.

But his friendship with The Bloodline didn’t last long, as at Royal Rumble 2023, Zayn would snap after constant insults and turn his back on The Tribal Chief. This would lead to both of them facing each other at Elimination Chamber 2023 in Montreal, where Reigns came out victorious.

Prior to his Elimination Chamber match, Reigns was in a heated rivalry with Kevin Owens but defeated him as well at Royal Rumble 2023. At the same event, tensions brewed in The Bloodline when Jey Uso walked out on his family.

Recently, another piece of news popped up which will excite the fans. Roman Reigns would be again facing Sami Zayn, but this time they won’t be alone in the ring..

Who is Sami Zayn pairing up to face Roman Reigns?

Sami Zayn’s match against ‘The Head of the Table’ was well received by the critics. The match had excellent storytelling, and Zayn’s underdog nature compelled the fans to cheer him more, as he was a much more relatable character.

However, after tasting defeat at the hands of the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, Zayn would again be facing Reigns, but this time with a backup of his own. Sami Zayn would finally be pairing up with his long-lost friend, Kevin Owens to take on the duo of Reigns and Solo Sikoa.

The match is set to take place during a live event in Toronto, Canada. Zayn and Owens are extremely over in Canada, and this match would be a treat for the fans. Whom do you think will come out victorious in this match?

What are the plans set for Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 39?

The current rise of Sami Zayn is extremely impressive, with crowds cheering their heart out for him. However, this very rise of the Canadian has the WWE concerned about their upcoming storyline with Cody Rhodes. Recently, Dave Meltzer reported that, during Rhodes’ segment, the cheering for Zayn became so overbearing that Paul Heyman had to come out to defuse the tension.

As of now, WWE has no plans set for Sami Zayn or Kevin Owens either. But there is a possibility the duo might be facing The Usos for the tag team titles at WrestleMania 39.
