Hardly a celebrity, apart from Dwayne Johnson, is seen to be a serious contender for the presidency. The Rock attained this position primarily through years and years of giving it his all and working harder than everybody else in the room. In addition to his accomplishments in professional wrestling and acting, he has demonstrated his leadership skills by overseeing significant ships of business. Recent disclosures suggest that the third-generation wrestler may now be attempting to rule WWE in a different way.

The only thing on Johnson’s mind right now is Black Adam, which he is heavily promoting. During a recent trip to Toronto to promote his movie, DJ spoke with BNN Bloomberg. Aside from the movies, just a few days after declining the Presidential Run, the star actor made a crucial statement. The WWE Universe might see him as a board member of the $5.63 billion worth Wrestling Empire.
Dwayne Johnson speaks about joining the WWE board
After building the WWE into a booming success that enabled many of his employees to earn substantial sums of money, Vince McMahon departed the company. In the months after his resignation in August, a number of Benchmark Company specialists have said that the World Wrestling Entertainment is vulnerable to acquisition due to changes made to its management.

When asked Johnson about it, he stated, “I think the key, if there were a sale of the WWE, is to make sure that whoever acquires that brand in that property, you’ve got to love the wrestling business. Of course, you can love the asset. And you can love everything that comes with it, but you got to love the professional wrestling business… because if not, then you could kind of see the writing on the wall; four or five years down the road. What will happen?”
Notably, The Rock’s name was also in the headlines for buying WWE. It started after he took over the XFL brand from his former employer. And he has now made it plain that whoever takes over must have a passion for sports since, without it, it would be impossible to operate the organization that has long been at the top of the pro wrestling industry.
Moreover, when questioned about if he would think about investing strategically in the WWE or accepting a director post there, Johnson said, “[WWE co-CEO] Nick [Khan] and I have talked about that, and we always enjoy that over a bottle of Teremana. I love the wrestling business. I grew up in it. My grandfather [and] my dad started here in Canada, where was born. So, I’m not quite too sure if a board seat is in my future, but possibly other things are in my future, for sure.”
When will The Rock make a comeback in the WWE?
Even though the People’s Champion didn’t provide a firm answer and indicated he wasn’t sure, there are still other options for his future. However, given Johnson’s love of running a corporation that generates enormous profits and he has enthusiasm for sports, the WWE globe may someday get to see him managing WWE.

Meanwhile, one possibility for his future is a WWE comeback, which might occur at WrestleMania 39 against Roman Reigns. Although it hasn’t been confirmed, this matchup is undoubtedly a WWE fan’s dream. Considering how the Brahma Bull always actually listens to his fans, there is a high possibility of it happening.
