The WWE Universe has absolutely fallen in love with Shaun Ricker aka LA Knight. The WWE superstar recently faced a major setback after testing positive for COVID-19. His sudden illness put WWE’s plans for him in doubt. While this disappointed several WWE fans, recent news is sure to cheer them up.

A recently uploaded social media post has claimed with concrete proof that LA Knight will feature at WWE Fastlane. In fact, the wrestler may also have been booked for a major match during WWE’s latest upcoming Premium Live Event.

LA Knight has made an indelible mark amongst the crowd, and the WWE Universe doesn’t fall short of loving him. Knight has climbed the popularity ladder high enough to receive the special treatment reserve for Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns

Vince McMahon was forced to offer a refund for tickets to SmackDown last week when LA Knight couldn’t appear due to a COVID-19 positive test. However, a tweet on X has brought a wave of happiness among fans.

The tweet shared an image of WWE’s Fastlane promotion by its streaming partner, Peacock. The image clearly featured LA Knight alongside Jey Uso and Ivo Sky. This shows proof that Knight might return before Fastlane and will also be a part of it.

In fact, according to none other than Dave Meltzer, Knight will join 16-time WWE Champion John Cena at Fastlane.

John Cena to roll with Knight at WWE Fastlane

John Cena is embroiled in a feud against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso of The Bloodline. A match between them is also set for Fastlane but at the moment Cena is without a partner. This was after AJ Styles was taken out by Sikoa and Jimmy Uso on last week’s SmackDown. The plan was to have LA Knight come out later in the night to save Cena from a beatdown by The Bloodline.

According to Dave Meltzer, “LA Knight and John Cena, is, in theory, the pay-per-view main event.” While this also raises the question about the matches of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, it also shows how important LA Knight has become.

Moreover, The Champ may now have an ally when he faces the family of Roman Reigns at WWE Fastlane. Cena has already signed a match contract with Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso to face them at Fastlane. With Knight likely alongside him, the 16-time-world champion now stands on equal footing with them.
