CM Punk is in the headlines these days. Even though Punk has been associated with a few controversies in his professional life, the latest one marked the end of his current career run at AEW. Looking over the situation, a former WWE worker shared his thoughts on the wrestler while sharing his experience of working with him.

Many people are predicting a return to WWE for Punk but according to Freddie Prinze Jr. Punk is not a pleasant personality to work with. In fact, after observing the pattern of Punk’s disputes, Freddie Prinze Jr. believes he should blame himself for the chaos in his work life.

Freddie Prinze Jr. worked with WWE as a lead writer between 2008-2009 and then from 2010-2012 due to his interest in pro wrestling. Even though he did not have any professional paths to cross with Punk, the wrestler still behaved terribly with the actor. In a recent episode of his podcast, Freddie discussed Punk’s behavior with his listeners.

The actor recalled, “He wasn’t a nice guy to me. It would’ve been easy to be nice to me. And instead, he would just blow me off every time I walked by when I worked there [at WWE].” Even though they were never going to cross professional paths, Punk used to go the extra mile to trouble Freddie. He even added, “Why are you going out of your way to be a d*ck to me if you and I are never gonna work together ever?

The 47-year-old also called out the ex-UFC fighter for playing the victim card in all of his controversies. According to him, Punk should figure out why these things only happen with him and he might find out the reason. In fact, the continuous professional misconduct is presumably what led to Tony Khan firing him.
