Months after going through the merging process, WWE signed a $21.4 Billion merger with Endeavor to form TKO Holdings. Vince McMahon went on to become an Executive member of the new board as combat sports underwent a tectonic shift.
More than a year back, McMahon had to leave the WWE Executive body due to the legal troubles he got himself involved in. Nevertheless, he came back unscathed to initiate a sale that could have massive ramifications for the business. However, it seems like his past issues might resurface and cause him trouble for his position on the TKO Board of Directors.

Vince McMahon announced on the 21st of July 2022 that he was retiring from his position as WWE’s chairman and CEO. The 76-year-old further announced that his daughter Stephanie McMahon and WWE President Nick Khan will continue as his replacement. But it was the reason for his retirement that has made more headlines.
There were a few sexual allegations against Vince charged by some of his former female employees. WSJ reported that $12 million was transferred to four former WWE employees to silence McMahon’s misconduct. However, McMahon made a blockbuster return to his original post as his daughter left her role and the company altogether. However, new information has come to light on the potential consequences McMahon could face if the results of a federal investigation prove to be damning.

If the charges are proven right, then McMahon might lose his position in the new company. But both he and WWE have put out statements that indicate their confidence in the case to be resolved without any hiccups.

LA Times also reported McMahon’s statement, which he gave in his defense. He said, “I have always denied any intentional wrongdoing and continue to do so. I am confident that the government’s investigation will be resolved without any findings of wrongdoing.”
WWE also put forward their on take via an official statement, “We believe this is a continuation of the investigation that commenced last summer. WWE has cooperated throughout and fully understands and respects the government’s need for a complete process.”

Only time will tell if McMahon has to forego his position in the new venture undertaken by WWE.
