The wrestling world often puts forward heartbreaking news for fans to witness. Sometimes the news is so sentimentally appealing that it breaks the barrier between two promotions. Dax Harwood’s latest news shocked a lot of wrestling fans too. The AEW star recently aired his last ever podcast episode. If that did not surprise you, the reasoning given by Harwood might.

The wrestler used to co-host a podcast called ‘FTR with Dax Harwood’. Although Harwood’s FTR partner did not appear in the podcast, it was a way for their fans to stay close to the tag team. However, it all seems to be coming to an end now.

Dax Harwood’s wrestling podcast comes to an end

The AEW star had been hosting a podcast for a long while now. As Harwood made a decision to close it, he wanted to inform his fans before doing so. The reason that he gives will come as a shock to a lot of his fans. While starting the podcast, Harwood began with a motive to contribute to the wrestling world. Although he was already doing so inside the ring, he wanted to go an extra mile for his fans.

He used to host his podcasts surrounding wrestling news, while also updating his fans about his future in wrestling. However, where things could have slipped is Harwood’s opinions on the news that he narrated. ‘Discussion’ is a part of any podcast, but it appears that something possibly went wrong with ‘FTR with Dax Harwood’. So much so that he had to put an end to it.

In a heartbreaking discussion, Harwood said, “I think we both feel we were causing more harm than good even though we were trying to do good. It just didn’t come across that way or portray it that way. We were more of a detriment to professional wrestling than we thought and never wanted to do that.

Harwood believes that he and his co-host did not fulfill the original intention of the podcast. While they wanted to contribute to the wrestling world in a healthy way, they believe the opposite has happened.

It could be possible that Harwood ends up returning with his podcast yet again in the future, but for the time being he has called time on it. We can also expect Harwood’s fans to bombard his social media, asking him to make a return.
