Daniel Bryan departed WWE a few years back and has subsequently performed well in AEW. The superstar has fought a lot of youthful talent and has given us some incredible dream matches. However, it appears that it is time for him to return to familiar territory. New information concerning Bryan’s AEW contract has emerged, and it does not bode well for AEW fans.
Recently, Fightful confirmed that Bryan’s contract with the company had expired. This signifies that the wrestler is merely finishing off an overdue term with the business. Furthermore, sources stated that the former WWE champion is currently undergoing neck surgery, which would need him to spend a significant amount of time away from wrestling television.
We are now familiar with WWE’s penchant of allowing crucial talents the appropriate time to recover while keeping them engaged in storylines as seen in CM Punk’s case. One last hurray in the new era of WWE under Triple H’s stead could just be the storied farewell that Bryan deserves in his pro wrestling career. Michael Cole’s comments on this week’s Raw also indicate this mouthwatering prospect.
