Dance Choreographer Once Detailed How 13-Year-Old Brooke Hogan Proved Her Star Appeal: “She Looked Like She Was 22 Years Old”

Celebrities’ kids often live in the shadow of their parents. The constant glare and hype around a famous personality’s family does not help either. It does test the mettle of these kids to be in the spotlight almost all the time.

The daughter of WWE legend Hulk Hogan, Brooke Hogan, is not new to the attention she gets. However, the way she dealt with it has impressed one and all. In the 2002 documentary, ‘Hogan and Family’, her previous choreographer talked about how he felt there was something different about her.

It wouldn’t have been easy to be the child of one of the most popular in-ring performers of all time. But Hogan’s daughter did not let her father’s career overshadow her own ambitions in life. In the documentary, Glen Douglas Packard, her past dance instructor, described how she impressed him in their very first meeting.

Brooke Hogan had something about her

He said, “And walked in this, you know awkward girl, that you know, I couldn’t believe she was just 13 years old she looked like she was 22 years old. She was just two left feet and this but there was something special about her, something unique about her and she really wanted it, and if you have that drive and determination that’s what makes a star”.

Like her father before her, Hogan’s interest in music was quite apparent from a young age. Many people may not know, The Immortal One was a bass player before switching careers. He was part of a band called Ruckus, but ultimately found his calling in the squared circle. Brooke Hogan has also had stints in WWE and TNA, now called Impact wrestling. She was heavily involved in a feud between her father and Randy Orton back in 2006.

Hulk Hogan and his star value

The Hulkster’s heroics in the business are talked about even today. His antics, both on and off the ring, are still largely unmatched. However, famous names like The Rock do come to mind when talking about super-stardom.

But Hogan definitely was the biggest star in his era and his time in wrestling will forever be cherished by the fans.
