The WWE’s Clash at the Castle 2024 PLE recorded two major botches that surely scared their fans. And one of which featured the Heavyweight Champion. Damian Priest had a major scare when he tried to jump over the third rope out of the ring on Drew McIntyre, and his ankle got caught between the second and third ropes. Priest said at the post-show conference that he was in pain, and though initially, he thought he was fine, he still had to wait for medical tests.

As later reported on Fightful Select, the initial word from the backstage of the WWE was that Priest was fine and was selling the pain during the match against Drew McIntyre. That is why he received a lot of praise for his performance. It is not the first time that WWE management has praised the Heavyweight Champion, as throughout 2023 he received rave reviews for his in-ring skills and chemistry with his colleagues.

But it is also not the first time that Priest has botched a move. As another clip from his past resurfaces online, it reveals that the big man surely has a tendency to botch aerial moves. And he should avoid it at all costs to avoid risking injury to himself or his opponent.
