June 9, 2023, WWE SmackDown, Asuka was celebrating her new title when Charlotte Flair‘s music hit. The ‘Queen’ was back in the business and within a few minutes, she made her intentions clear. She wants the title that Asuka holds. And on top of that, the ‘Empress of Tomorrow’ accepted her challenge.

This received a mixed reaction from fans as most of them were expecting a feud between Asuka and Iyo Sky. However, according to a WWE legend, it’s actually Charlotte Flair that people want to see inside the ring. He quoted Flair’s line from SmackDown and solidify his statement.

WWE legend believes that Charlotte Flair sells the tickets

In an episode of the wrestling podcast ‘Busted Open Radio’, the WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry praised Charlotte Flair, calling her the superstar who sells the tickets.

In a segment of the podcast, the host told Henry that fans want to see Asuka competing against Iyo Sky. To this the WWE legend unhesitantly replied that it could be a great match, but it’s Charlotte Flair that people want to see in real.

Mark Henry quoted her line from the recent Smackdown promo and said it was the best line he has heard in a while as it expressed her true feelings. The WWE Hall of Famer also mentioned that the fans stand in line and pay just to see her inside the ring.

Talking about Charlotte Flair, Mark Henry said, “She is the Elite. She (Charlotte Flair) sell tickets. You know, she don’t stand in the line… she is the line. That was the best lines I have heard in a long time because it expressed her true emotional feelings about her vs. everybody else. People stand in the line to pay to see her …. Ya, you’re welcome.”

The WWE legend didn’t just stop there. He kept on reciting Flair’s achievements in the WWE and even proposed an idea that might blow everyone’s mind.

Mark Henry has a unique plan for Flair

Later in the podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer put his plan for Charlotte Flair on the table. He said that the ‘Queen’ has the potential to eclipse her father Ric Flair’s accolades if the company allows her to compete against men.

He mentioned that Flair should have a run against the male superstars and then return to the female division as it will surely solidify her dominance in the WWE.

Charlotte Flair was out of action since her WrestleMania loss and fans were wondering if she is going to expand her niche into another sport.

However, nothing like that happened and now WWE Universe will see the ‘Queen’ competing against the ‘Empress of Tomorrow’ at Money in the Bank PLE for the Women’s title.
