In the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE displayed the signs for ‘Connor’s Cure’ briefly on the screen as a part of Pediatric Cancer Awareness month. For those of you still foggy about what this was, here’s a simple explanation.
Back in April 2014, Paul Levesque (Triple H) and Stephanie McMahon met Connor Michalek, a WWE fan who was battling cancer at the tender age of 8.

Connor had Medulloblastoma which is a rare tumor that affects the spinal cord and brain. The boy grew close to Levesque and Stephanie as well as other visiting WWE Superstars.
The two of them were impacted by hearing the news that Connor lost the battle to his condition the same month. To honor his memory, they started Connon’s Cure as a fund at the Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Its purpose is to aid top cancer research facilities as well as help families deal with the treatment part of their child’s condition. Connor’s Cure has successfully managed to raise almost $3 million and assisted more than 500 families around the world.
Connor’s Cure has significantly grown and unites children suffering from similar conditions. Together, they defeat cancer and help others do the same. It’s heartwarming to see how they all remain so optimistic even in such grim states.
