Charlotte Flair wants to become a 17-time World Champion in WWE. She has already expressed her desire to break her father, Ric Flair‘s record who currently sits at the top (alongside John Cena) with 16 world title reigns. ‘The Queen’ is a 14-time world champion and has come very close to becoming a 15-time champion many times.
Unfortunately, she fell short every time. This week on SmackDown, fortune didn’t favor her as she again lost out on a chance to add to her tally. The disappointment was visible on her face, but her father didn’t let it ruin her night. Ric Flair not only cheered for his daughter but for Iyo Sky and all the women in the WWE locker room, who work incredibly hard day in and day out.

On the 10/20 edition of SmackDown, ‘The Queen’ faced Sky for the WWE Women’s Champion. The match took place at the main event of the night. The challenger couldn’t win the title, though she put in an incredible performance as always. A big reason for her loss was interference from Damage CTRL.
After witnessing his daughter’s loss, the 2-time Hall of Famer went to social media to cheer her up. He not only praised his daughter but gave due credit to all the other females in the division. He snubbed male stars like Roman Reigns, John Cena, and others, though he didn’t name them.
While taking shots in the male locker room, he lauded the women wrestlers of the promotion. He implied women are doing better jobs than men in the company. Indeed, women wrestlers have uplifted wrestling over the years. Once seen as mere props, females are now allowed to take center stage and even headline WrestleMania.

This week too, the SmackDown roster females ended the show with a total blast. And the return of the 34-year-old superstar made the show even more eventful.
Bianca Belair returns on 10/20 SmackDown to save Charlotte Flair

Belair attempted to deliver a Kiss of Death on the WWE Women’s Champion, but Bayley saved her stablemate. However, in the process, Bayley fell into the clutches of the returning superstar and received the KOD instead. It looks like Flair and Belair will partner to take on Damage CTRL.
Damage CTRL always plays the number game to win, therefore, teaming up would be the best chance to score one up against the heel faction. It will not be the first time Flair and Belair will partner to take on Damage CRTL. They did it in the August 18 edition of SmackDown and even won the match.
