The scandal revolving around Vince McMahon left many people in a bad place within WWE, and one of them was Brock Lesnar. The fighter was allegedly involved in this whole affair and, as a result, the company wanted to keep him out of the way until everything was resolved. They removed him from the opening montage of the WWE shows as well as WWE 2K24.

However, reportedly, the WWE added his name back to the current rosters list on their official website. This has led to fans speculating that the Beast is returning, and possibly it’s on Monday Night RAW.

Tomorrow on RAW, six men will compete in a grueling gauntlet match, in which the winner will earn to challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40 next month. And while the competitors have already been named, according to the fans, Lesnar might replace one to return and win the whole thing. Why so? Because WWE planned a WrestleMania 40 match between Gunther and Brock Lesnar.

Since his loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023 nearly three months ago, Brock Lesnar has been completely absent from WWE’s programming, even missing a Saudi Arabian event for the first time on November 4. Then he was planned to be a part of the Royal Rumble but that too did not come to fruition. But with his name back on the roster and a return in the Gauntlet match, it can easily build a storyline for Mania. And fans are surely already loving the idea of it.

Fans left in a frenzy over Lesnar’s comeback rumors

Lesnar only had six matches last year in WWE, with the trilogy with Cody Rhodes at Backlash, Night of Champions, and SummerSlam being the most transcendent thing he did in 2023. He also had a brief rivalry with Omos that culminated at WrestleMania 39 and another with Bobby Lashley at Elimination Chamber. And being the fan favorite that Lesnar is, fans surely want more matches. So when the rumors of a return on RAW made rounds on the internet, fans couldn’t help but take to Twitter to share their thoughts:
