Concerning Update on 21-Year-Old WWE Star’s Health Leads to Uncountable Prayers: “I’m Scared if It’s True”, “Get Well Soon”

There are many instances of WWE storylines portraying weird things for the mere sake of entertainment. So fans get accustomed to not taking things so seriously when it all can be a part of the angle. But things became quite serious during the March 7th episode of NXT Roadblock when it showed a popular NXT star leaving the ring on a stretcher.

The star was none other than the current NXT sensation Roxanne Perez. The Prodigy is going unstoppable with her current run on the NXT roster. Since taking down Mandy Rose in December, she has held the title for nearly 80 days. WWE seemingly has big plans for the talented superstar as depicted by her recent victory, which resulted in an unexpected health emergency.

The 21-year-old superstar put on a breathtaking performance on the show to successfully retain her title against former NXT Women’s UK champion, Meiko Satomura. She and the Japanese wrestler had had a hard hitting physical confrontation.

The celebration didn’t end well for the NXT Women’s Champion as she suddenly collapsed after Satomura raised her hand. Everybody present were concerned as she didn’t get up soon. Noticing the urgency, the medics rushed to the spot and carried the injured star on a stretcher.

Fans pray for the Prodigy’s early recovery

The WWE universe currently seems confused if it’s a real injury or a Kayfabe. Amid the confusion, WWE’s latest official update regarding Perez to stay in a hospital tonight further flamed the discussion.

Most of the Perez fans are busy praying for the young talent to have a quick recovery as they truly believe that her injury is genuine.

Some fans seemed relieved, believing it was nothing but kayfabe. They, however, have good reasons to believe this. The referee didn’t show the dreaded X sign, which is the norm whenever any star gets injured in the ring for real.

Another possible reason behind their belief might be the lack of reports regarding it.

There is also a part of the fanbase who is still wondering what is the actual case. They seemed confused and concerned at the same time.

While it’s still unclear what the future holds for the current NXT Women’s Champion, it looks like she will be out of the ring for some time due to the injury.
