Is Bray Wyatt's erratic behavior the real reason behind Uncle Howdy's stable facing failure?

The Uncle Howdy storyline has been a major draw on Raw since their high-flying debut. From storming through a huge massacre on the red brand to dishing out a series of cryptic interviews on live TV, the newly minted faction keeps us hooked on the screen. That said, there is a huge chance that the buzz will quickly fizzle out just like how Bray Wyatt-Howdy angle wrapped up in the past.

The eerie faction sent chills down the spine when representing a host of spooky characters on Raw after laying out several stars, including Chad Gable. In the later weeks, as Bo Dallas and Uncle Howdy intertwined in a unique spin, the enigmatic star revealed that he can’t stand anyone who betrays their family for their own good, leading to the speculation of Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline being the next on the Wyatt 6’s gunpoint. That said, while the idea seems enchanting, a minute observation depicted fans giving kind of a lackluster reaction to the ongoing Howdy storyline.

Not only a possible Bloodline feud, but it seems that the faction has a lot of different paths to go next for launching more surprises to the plate. Bringing Alexa Bliss back to the house has been a major one of them. Little Miss Bliss has been long-teased to join the eerie faction due to her rich history with Bray Wyatt and the Firefly Fun House, but she didn’t show up as a member on June 17th.

We are rapidly advancing toward SummerSlam, and the possibility of her inclusion in the Howdy storyline will spice things up. But despite all the buzz, the question it begs: Will it be worth it? Should WWE really invest so much in the Wyatt 6 development? Well, as per, Bully Ray, the answer is slightly no.

During the recent episode of the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray noted, ”I honestly don’t remember the reaction that he got last night. Well, if you don’t remember the reaction, he couldn’t have gotten that great of a reaction, which is concerning. Last night is the first night we have seen Bo Dallas, not Uncle Howdy, Bo Dallas, the brother of Bray Wyatt, the brother of Windham Rotunda, the closest living link that the WWE has to Bray. We saw him live and in the flesh last night. So so so reaction to me that’s concerning. That’s concerning.”

Now let’s quickly recap what happened last week on Monday Night Raw.

Wyatt Sicks had been absent from the active storyline for some time until they came down the ring surprisingly on the red brand on July 17, in a blood-curling segment. While the stars started to leave the arena in fright, the faction kicked in, chasing their target.

Bo Dallas, without his Uncle Howdy gimmick, showed up from the dark to get on the nerves of Chad Gable. The Creed Brothers sneakily launched an attack from behind. The trio kept on beating Wyatt’s real-life brother until worn out, but couldn’t break his spirit. Just like a surreal entity, Dallas laughed off the attack again and again.

Earlier in the show, Chad Gable confidently told General Manager Adam Pearce that he made out Uncle Howdy’s reality and claimed that it was Dallas. Later, when he approached his Alpha Academy team members to join him, they declined, leaving fans hopeless about an intriguing confrontation. But the Creed Brothers’ return changed the dynamic completely.

It will be interesting to see what next the villains have to do in the ring. What’s your take on the theory of fans getting bored with Uncle Howdy’s storyline in some time? Let us know in the comments.
