WWE has finally made some changes to the locker room of WWE Smackdown as the company is working on bringing in fresh faces to the blue brand. WWE is currently picking up some of the best NXT Superstars to hand in their promotion to a major brand.
On the July 9th episode of Smackdown, two of the finest wrestlers of NXT, Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox, made their shocking debut for the blue brand. Now it’s time for NXT Superstar Toni Storm to make her debut for Smackdown, as the brand has released a promo video of Toni Storm.

Toni Storm is coming soon to WWE Smackdown!
WWE teased Toni Storm’s arrival in the last episode of Smackdown as it was aired on the show. But recently, The official Twitter handle of WWE posted a promo video of her much-awaited arrival to SmackDown. The date of her arrival was not mentioned in the video, but fans can expect her appearance within weeks. Toni Storm, well-known for her stint in NXT UK, was a considerable talent WWE pulled off from their UK scouting.

The former NXT UK Women’s Champion came under the radar of the wrestling fans when she defeated Io Shirai to win the Mae Young Classic 2018. Toni, who then appeared on the NXT Takeover in 2020. Since then, Toni has been an instrumental performer of the brand. She had even challenged the NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai but couldn’t get past the line as the challenge ended in a losing effort.
More NXT stars to follow
As the WWE universe is waiting for the debut of Toni Storm on WWE Smackdown, reports suggest that many more NXT stars will follow Toni storm. Recently the addition of Shotzi and Nox as a tag team by WWE was lauded by many fans.
Additionally, multiple reports suggest that NXT Superstars such as current NXT Champ Karrion Kross and Bronson Reed are in the pecking orders to promote a significant brand of WWE.

The inclusion of Toni Storm provides a breath of fresh air to the women’s division of Smackdown. With Bailey, one of the Centerpieces of the Women’s division, set to miss over nine months due to injury, the inclusion of Storm can increase the depth of the women’s division.

However, it won’t take much longer for Toni to come knocking on the doors of the current Smackdown women’s Champion, Bianca Belair, to fight for the gold.
