Professional wrestling for the large part is pre-planned. But what is not scripted is the risk of getting legitimate injuries. There have been many instances in the past of performers suffering from real-life gruesome injuries.
These setbacks force talents to spend time away from the squared circle. The time spent away depends on the severity of the issue. A 41-year-old WWE superstar recently updated his fans about a foot injury recently. And his fans would be hoping he is able to shake it off soon.

The problem in his leg has put his participation in the fatal-five-way match at the upcoming SmackDown almost out of the question. Kingston was supposed to take on Drew McIntyre, LA Knight, Sheamus, and Karrion Kross. The winner of the match would be getting an opportunity to collide with Intercontinental Champion Gunther at WrestleMania 39.
He suffered the injury during the build-up to the match on the 3rd March edition of the blue brand. All the wrestlers in the No. 1 contender’s match were involved in a scuffle. And it’s presumably where Kingston got the injury from. Those expecting his usual stellar performance in the star-studded affair would be left hugely disappointed. And even more so if Kingston fails to make it to WrestleMania.
Another New Day member is missing from action for a long time
Kingston is not the only member of New Day to suffer from an injury. It has been almost a year since Big E suffered a career-threatening injury at SmackDown. A Ridge Holland belly-to-belly suplex proved to be his downfall as the former WWE champion landed on his head. He is yet to make a comeback from the major issue and is still recuperating from it. There is no clarity regarding his return to the Stamford-based promotion.
