Cody Rhodes is currently involved in a feud with Brock Lesnar. After facing each other in matches twice already, The American Nightmare and The Beast Incarnate are going to lock horns for bragging rights. Poised at one each, a win for either will give that wrestler a 2-1 edge and effectively end the rivalry. However, as per reports, Rhodes could face a hurdle.
That he’s facing Lesnar is in itself a hurdle, but the promotion is trying to add spice to the contest. If reports are to be believed, Rhodes is among those likely to face disruption at SummerSlam 2023.

SummerSlam 2023 PLE is scheduled to take place on August 5. The marquee event will emanate from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes is one of the matches that has been green-lit for the event. There’s also The Bloodline saga, where Jey Uso will take on Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Seth Rollins and Finn Balor will lock horns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
While there are other matches, these three will definitely grab more eyeballs. According to Xero News, WWE is planning the return of Bray Wyatt at the August 5 event. The 36-year-old was last seen during his match against LA Knight at this year’s Royal Rumble. But the 3-time world champion won’t renew his rivalry with Knight.

Fans clearly don’t want Rhodes to end his feuds. Check this tweet and the reason attached. But they also suggested the WWE cut down on the theatrics associated with Wyatt.
Balor vs Rollins makes the most sense… But the Cody vs Brock would add another feud for Cody as long as it’s not a wonky lights out type stuff that follows..

Just when Cody Rhodes thought going over Brock Lesnar would solve it all. Faithful now want him to ace the Bray Wyatt mental test as well. Wyatt is known for inflicting pain on his opponents with his cerebral attacks. Will Rhodes’ come out with flying colors?
I hope it's Cody. I really like the idea that he passes his physical test in Lesnar and now gets the mental test from Wyatt.

Meanwhile, Wyatt received words of encouragement from The Undertaker recently. Having a similar gimmick, The Deadman empathized with the underwhelming response to Wyatt’s present character and gave some suggestions. But the former leader of The Wyatt Family has yet to have a steady run since his return to the WWE in October 2022.
