Cody Rhodes Weighs In on Wife Brandi Rhodes’ Possibly Challenging Paul Heyman: “I Ain’t Gonna Spoil It…Never Say Never”

One who religiously follows both WWE and AEW’s work would definitely remember the two popular faces from each of the roster’s promos. The names are also quite known, one being the Wiseman Heyman while the other one is the 2023 Royal Rumble Winner, Cody Rhodes’ wife, Brandi Rhodes. Both of them have consistently shared a past filled with a rivalry that included several negative remarks toward each other. However, all of that made it more fascinating for the audience to see a promo battle between the two. And surprisingly, Rhodes recently dropped some secret details on this. 

Since the time The American Nightmare won the Royal Rumble and had a likely match against Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman started trash-talking. The extent of which went ahead of professional boundaries and entered the personal life of the wrestler. Heyman even made derogatory comments about Rhodes’ wife on several occasions. But similar to Heyman, the former AEW executive is great at cutting powerful promos. Cody Rhodes disclosed the admirable traits his wife possesses while facing adversity.

Speaking to Ryan Satin on his Out of Character podcast, the six-time world tag team champion shed light on several topics from his experiences at the Royal Rumble 2023 to discussing WrestleMania 39. During the conversation, the host also asked him to let the audience know if they will see Brandi Rhodes at all on the Road to WrestleMania.

To this, Rhodes said that he and her wife always want to do things separately. He even shared one example. The 37-year-old said, “I think even one of the last interviews she had done before I left, it was guy was making fun of me in the ring and she went out there and didn’t even need me anywhere near it. She very much can defend herself and can fight her own battles.” 

Moreover, one of the most established wrestlers in the WWE said this. And it clearly shows that whoever comes in the path of Rhodes’ wife can handle him/her all alone. However, after establishing this point, The Prince of pro wrestling subtly talked about a secret venture of her wife that most of the wrestling fanatics were waiting to hear.

To answer the actual question asked by the host in which he also included his wish of seeing Heyman and Brandi Rhodes’ promo battle, the Dashing hinted at upcoming stuff. 

He said, “She’s got some stuff,  that she’s working on secretly, unrelated, and I ain’t gonna spoil it, unrelated, will not spoil it to this uh wonderful industry I’m in but you know definitely. Never Say Never.”

He definitely has given out a hint for the audience to guess the rest of the things on their own.
