The WWE knew what buttons to push. Now people can’t help but support Roman Reigns. After his unfortunate loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL, his absence already bothered people. Then Solo Sikoa taking over The Bloodline raised many eyebrows. However, when the new heel faction gave it a complete revamp by kicking out Jimmy Uso and recently assaulting The Wiseman, Paul Heyman, a lot of speculations started developing.

Many believe this points towards the plans for Reigns to make his return to the WWE and have a showdown with Solo Sikoa, possibly positioning Reigns as the babyface of this developing narrative. But this babyface turn would also bring some major changes for the Universal Champion Cody Rhodes. What are those changes?

Will WWE capitalize on the presence of two babyfaces?

In the latest edition of the F4WOnline podcast, hosts Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez talked about SmackDown and everything else that took place in the realm of the WWE. And it was during this conversation that they discussed the recent attack on Paul Heyman as Alvarez reckoned, “Man, they built to this angle here, and man, Roman Reigns coming back. It’ll be big. He’s going to be a babyface on par with Cody.”

Meltzer seemed to agree with the same as he gave an idea, stating, “It’ll be different. It’ll be different than Cody, but you know what I mean? In reality, they probably shouldn’t be on the same show.

Alvarez: No, Roman should be on Smackdown. Cody needs to be on Raw. Cody should go back to RAW.
Meltzer: Yeah, Cody should go back to RAW. Although, here’s the thing, RAW’s going to have, you know, Seth Rollins and CM Punk.
Alvarez: Oh well, that’s fine! But these are your two absolute top babyfaces. Cody and Roman… And you know what? If they can get one on each show and then, keep them this hot, … you’ve got two massive babyfaces.

For the unaware, the Wiseman refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as the Tribal Chief on SmackDown, leading to him getting triple power bombed on the commentary table by Tonga, Loa, and Fatu. This move surely wouldn’t be without consequences. And with SummerSlam getting nearer, the WWE Universe is gearing for the return of the original Tribal Chief. Reigns will be all set to face the new version of the Bloodline and be a babyface all over again.

So will Roman Reigns’ Big Dog gimmick make a return as he can potentially become a babyface once again? There’s no confirmation, but many fans have considered this possibility.

In a previous interaction, Meltzer revealed that the feud between Sikoa and Reigns would be a main event in an important PLE, such as SummerSlam or the Showcase of the Immortals. Not only Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez, but many others in the WWE Universe are also tipping Paul Heyman as the reason behind Roman Reigns’ comeback.

Can Paul Heyman’s comeback lead to Roman Reigns’ entry?

Paul Heyman was taken back on a stretcher following the assault of Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline. And ‘Busted Open’, hosts Jonathan Hood and Justin LaBar believe that The Wiseman’s comeback can also pave the way for Reigns. After all, Heyman has been loyal to the wrestler.

The two believe that the 39-year-old would not be making an abrupt return at SummerSlam. Instead, it would be Heyman. “And then you don’t even need, ladies and gentlemen, you don’t even need anything of that. Whether Roman’s music hits or not. You have Paul Heyman just walk out first for the first time in however many weeks at this point it is.”

“And Paul Heyman just looking disgusted. Looking at the Bloodline and then a devilish smile starts to come across his face, and then boom, then hit the music, then hit that Roman music because the Wiseman has found his Tribal Chief,” claimed the podcast hosts. Well, that does sound quite interesting.

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns can also be joined by Jimmy Uso, as he would be eager to take revenge for the way he was ousted from the new heel faction. What are your thoughts about the 39-year-old’s comeback and the potential emergence of a new Bloodline? Let us know in the comments.
