Cody Rhodes is heading to King and Queen of the Ring 2024 to oust Logan Paul from his pursuit to claim the coveted Undisputed Universal WWE Championship. That being said, being an ideal champion is a very hectic and demanding job, leaving very little space for an interlude. To go by this theory, Cody Rhodes will soon put his title on the line for another brawl if he wins the approaching battle with Logan Paul, which is almost obvious. Now, it begs the question: who’s the bigwig eyeing Rhodes’ dream title the next? WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has an interesting name in his head.

The name in question is none other than the newly minted Raw superstar Bron Breakker after he did something extremely compelling on the show this week.

Bron Breakker showed the potential to butt heads with Cody Rhodes next

The former NXT act showed up at the latest edition of the Red brand show and wreaked havoc. Breakker couldn’t make it to the King of the Ring tournament, something that didn’t sit well with him. To vent his frustration, the 26-year-old tore his opponent Kale Dixon down to the point that the match got called off.

After launching a series of spears on Dixon, Breakker sent him into the ring, prompting the referee to interfere. The match got over immediately, but the aggressive attacking spree of Breakker didn’t stop. He then took a steel chair to hit Dixon. It ended with some officials rushing to the ring and stopping Breakker from causing more harm. The hostility of the entire segment caught everyone off guard, including WWE veteran Bully Ray. But additionally, Ray sees a different potential to this seemingly over-the-top storyline.

Connecting it to Cody Rhodes’ next title defense, Ray elucidated, ‘‘Maybe the next challenger for Cody should be Bron Breakker and I Pooh poohed it and I said that’s way too soon. And obviously Cody Rhodes’ is on SmackDown and Bron Breakker is on Monday Night Raw, but the way they used him last night, he may be a challenger for a World Heavyweight Championship sooner rather than later.”

Moving ahead, an NPJW star is also seemingly stepping into Rhodes’ business soon.

NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd had a strong warning for the American Nightmare.

Cody Rhodes is set to touchdown in Japan alongside his WWE crew as part of an upcoming tour. Though the ”American Nightmare” didn’t even shift his focus to any of the NPJW affairs, Kidd got triggered by his very approach to his promotional home and issued a bombastic tweet.

He took to his social media handle to write, ”STAY OUT OF MY TERRITORY BEFORE I SLAP YOU UP AND TAKE YOUR BELT AGAIN‼️”

The attached video clip featured a 2017 What Culture Pro Wrestling match where Kidd got the upper hand against Joe Hendry and Rhodes.

Now, it will be really interesting to see who sneaks in to test the patience of The American Nightmare next.
