With WWE’s Crown Jewel 2023 just days away, Cody Rhodes is ready to take on Damian Priest. Since Jey Uso joined Monday Night RAW, the Judgment Day has been a thorn in Rhodes’s shoe. Now, Rhodes finally has the chance to get some payback for losing the tag team titles and the ambush during the last RAW episode. Meanwhile, his sister is dropping some very revealing hints on social media about her WWE dream in 2024.

Teil Rhodes drops hints about Cody Rhodes’s story ending

Teil Rhodes is the sister of Cody Rhodes. She is the daughter of Dusty Rhodes and his second wife. A proud supporter of her brother in the WWE, Teil never shied away from speaking her mind regarding her brother.

Ahead of his match at Crown Jewel 2023 with Priest, Teil took to social media to answer a question. The social media account of Wrestle Features posted a question, “Name one thing you would like to see happen in WWE next year.” Teil had an answer but dropped subtle hints as to what she wanted to say.

Taking to her social media account, she answered, “Well, there is this one thing ..” Despite not saying anything specific, fans knew what she was talking about. Teil was hinting at her brother completing his story. This is something the WWE has been teasing for much too long, and fans want to see the conclusion.

While major speculation revolves around one of the Usos or Dwayne Johnson dethroning Roman Reigns, fans want it to be Rhodes. This is a personal vendetta for Rhodes after The Bloodline cost him his match at WrestleMania. However, only time will tell if the WWE closes this story or not.

The Cody Rhodes story so far

Rhodes’ story began at the Royal Rumble 2023 that he won. This got him a shot at the title that the Tribal Chief held. Right off the bat, Rhodes was ready to dethrone Reigns and end The Bloodline saga. Unfortunately, Rhodes underestimated The Bloodline.

Despite having the backing of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to keep The Usos at bay, no one was watching Solo Sikoa. Nailing Rhodes with the spike at the right time ensured the Head of the Table kept his title. While Rhodes did not complain, he wanted a rematch. However, Brock Lesnar made sure that would not happen until losing to Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. After defeating Lesnar, Rhodes has been waiting for Reigns. He has learned from his mistake of underestimating a heel faction and now aims to rectify his mistakes. He engages with The Judgment Day in order to permanently remove the obstacle that is put in front of him in pursuit of gliry.
