Now, after Johnson’s promo where he said, “I’ll Slap The Piss Out Of Cody Rhodes And His ‘Girlfriend’ Seth Rollins,” Rollins posted a reply. On his social media, he posted a GIF of the famous meme, “How do you do, fellow kids?” This is clearly mocking Johnson’s attempt to stay relevant in the WWE with the next generation of stars. This meme is often used when people try to connect with a different generation while not being subtle.

While Johnson’s heel turn is a breath of fresh air, many have claimed that it’s a rehash of what he did before. Furthermore, WWE fans know what Johnson did in the 2000s as Hollywood Rock during his initial heel turn. Since Johnson is rehashing his earlier gimmick and not trying something new, many hardcore fans are unhappy with this heel turn. Rollins GIF means that Johnson is trying to relate to a new generation of fans by doing what excited their parents.
