Set to make an appearance along with Roman Reigns and the rest of The Bloodline; fans are excited to see what heel Rock is set to say. Ahead of the show, Rhodes took to social media to post a retort after Johnson posted a video message to The American Nightmare and Seth Rollins.
Cody Rhodes says he’s happy for Dwayne Johnson
The heat is reaching supernova levels after Paul Heyman showed up on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. After Rhodes beat Grayson Waller in the main event, he had to deal with The Wiseman and his goons. Not only was the exchange white hot, but we also got the line, “The Bloodline isn’t hunting me. I’m hunting The Bloodline.” This made the fans erupt and excited for tonight’s SmackDown. But the WWE Universe didn’t have to wait long as Johnson took to social media to deliver a message to Rhodes.

On social media, Johnson released a 20-minute-long promo, where he said, “From the bottom of my heart, man to man, f##k your story.” After the WrestleMania XL Kick-off event, Johnson has been targeting the story that Rhodes has been trying to finish for a year now. According to Johnson, there isn’t one, as Rhodes lost at WrestleMania 39. However, The American Nightmare had something to say about this video by Johnson. Rhodes posted an image on X that read, “I ain’t watching all that. I’m happy for u tho. or sorry that happened.”

While Johnson was not tagged in the post, fans have concluded that this is for him. Furthermore, it sounds a bit cryptic, but fans are excited to have a response from Rhodes ahead of this episode of SmackDown. Johnson is set to appear and give a response to Rhodes’ singles match challenge, which he issued at Elimination Chamber.

Could we see Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson vs. Cody Rhodes?
While this is a dream match fans want to see, there is no official word on it. Moreover, the tag match between Rhodes and Seth Rollins vs. The Rock and Roman Reigns is another speculated match. The WWE could put either one of them on Night #1 of WrestleMania XL.
